Us
SELVAR is a think-and-do tank specialized in promoting sustainable and regenerative development in territorial planning, with a particular focus on urban environments, through the implementation of Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
We focus on designing and implementing strategies with a triple impact on biodiversity, climate change adaptation, and social wellbeing. We co-create projects with our clients, building on territorial realities and considering their present and future possibilities. We have experience leading projects that involve multiple stakeholders, such as local communities, governments, international organizations, and companies. SELVAR handles projects from design through execution, using nature as its main tool for transformation.

Our goal is to achieve a net gain in biodiversity by creating new habitats and restoring degraded spaces, returning them to nature and strengthening local ecosystems.

Our solutions are designed with climate challenges in mind, and we aim to reduce vulnerability to climate threats through nature.

People are central to any solution we design at SELVAR. We seek to improve social wellbeing, strengthen communities, and promote connection with nature.
